I could actually almost vote for this guy if he hadn't said it all about how serious he actually is about protecting our rights when he said "if you want to shoot an assault rifle, join the army. " So when the army is trampling through your country at the behest of a fascist government, just join them! Hmm, sounds like something Michael Moore would do..

The reason a free man should own an assault rifle is not to shoot an assault rifle at a yearly AQT (army qualification test.) The reason to own an assault rifle is to shoot those would would try to force a free people into slavery. No man with an M1A or an AR-15 and a hundred rounds of ammunition in his house need ever live as a slave. As the good people of New Hampshire said a long time ago, live free or die. Without an armed citizenry, we do not have that choice to make.

It is thought the target might have been a commercial aircraft or the US President's personal aircraft.

But his buyer was an undercover FBI agent and the arms dealer's voice is heard on tape saying he wanted the missile to be used to shoot down a large passenger plane.

There was no target. Nothing was targeted because there was no plot and there were no terrorists There was a moronic arms dealer. The actual conversation between the FBI Agent/Terrorist and the Moronic Arms Dealer probably went just like this:

F.A.T: We want a surface to air missile to bring down a large passenger plane

M.A.D: I have a surface to air missile, it will bring down a large passenger plane.

How do I know this? Because this is exactly the sort of idiocy that went on with the '93 WTC bombing, the OKC bombing, etc etc. It happens all the time.
